Anna studied Kinesiology at Truman State University in Missouri where she was also a member of the tennis team. She then continued her education at The University of Iowa graduating with her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. Anna joined the ream at Rebound Sports & Physical Therapy in 2014 and offers experience in strength & conditioning (CSCS), postural restoration (PRI) and pelvic floor therapy. After a low back injury as a young athlete, Anna was drawn to a career in physical therapy. She began solely in the sports medicine industry treating orthopedic injuries before expanding her qualifications to include pelvic floor therapy. Anna became passionate about Women’s Health after experiencing symphysis pubic dysfunction and SI joint pain during her first pregnancy. Determined to help other mom’s find better evidence-based medical resources to recover their core and get back to their best, she pursued advanced training in Pelvic Floor Therapy, prenatal/postpartum (PCES). She has since acquired extensive experience treating diastasis recti, back and pelvis pain, and pelvic floor dysfunction. Anna has helped hundreds of mamas’ return to their activities safely by using pelvic floor therapy, including the foundation of two of Rebound’s virtual programs, Strong Core Mama and Strong Running Mama. Anna is a runner and triathlete, often racing with a stroller – either pushing her daughters or with Athletes in Tandem, a local non-profit. She also enjoys to hike, camp, and bike in the mountains with her husband and their two daughters. She has a love for all sporting events and helping athletes of all kinds and levels!
